MITA DHULLIPALA

Mita joined MHP London’s Healthcare team in January 2020, where she is working across a range of policy and public affairs focused programmes in the UK, Europe and beyond.

Prior to joining MHP, Mita worked as a specialist health policy, public affairs and advocacy practitioner in the Health team at Weber Shandwick. During her time at Weber Shandwick, Mita worked across several therapy areas including regenerative medicine and rare auto-inflammatory disorders. She also worked closely with both patient and political networks on Global and European advocacy programs. Previous to this Mita worked in health policy at a leading trade union. During her time at the trade union, she worked across several areas of healthcare policy including undergraduate medical education, the NHS gender pay gap and the NHS funding deficit.

Mita also spent time at a financial PR consultancy, dealing specifically with pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, this enabled her to develop a niche knowledge of the sector and the commercial challenges it faces.

She has a strong background in political lobbying, crisis management, advocacy as well as media relations having worked at a boutique political consultancy in New Delhi. Notably, Mita led communications and media relations for the LGBT+ for a People’s Vote campaign.
