With the arrival of Coronavirus causing a decline in breast self-check
and breast cancer referrals, Estee Lauder Companies wanted to use
their iconic Breast Cancer Campaign to reprioritize breast
cancer self check public awareness during the Pandemic. There was also a perception issue around
breast cancer not being portrayed
authentically in diverse communities. Our campaign united women of
all communities in the world's largest online self-check event, sharing
self-check best practice and normalising breast care through a diverse
range of viewpoints. The campaign ignited media and social discussion,
achieving record event attendance and a legacy of increased self checking.
